At first I noticed the non-lock end of the fence would move every time I pressed the lock lever. I assumed the problem was with the plastic guides on either end of the fence. I order and replaced those parts, but it did not help. Then I noticed the rod that went from the lock lever to the other end was not pulling straight. I decided to order the parts that controlled the lock lever. Basically I rebuilt the entire fence except for the actual fence bar and rod. The entire job was quite simple and only took 15 minutes. The fence now works as it should. The only tools I used was a 1/2" socket wrench and a screw a phillips screw driver. The only difficult part was hold the spring back while putting the nut back on the end of the rod. Make sure the spring is fully seated in the end of the bar before you put the nut on.
