Excellent Customer service
Customer service is great. Ordered and received short block in a timely manner, reassembled ECHO PB265L, would not start, checked compression, only had 40psi, need minimum of 80psi to run.
I called customer service and received an RMA tag and shipping label, ordered another one. Stuff happens. They receive items in a box, they ship items out in a box, I do not consider this being their fault.

Correct Engine - Damaged Part
The engine was the correct for the ES-255 Blower / Vac according to Echo. However it came with the Woodruff Key installed on the crankshaft. The flywheel for many Echo models does not require the key and it must be removed. The key on the model shipped could not be removed without damaging the shaft. Ordered the same short block from a different site and was able to easily remove the key and properly install the flywheel.

For me it was straight forward,striped the unit down, used all the original parts,other then gaskets,new gaskets were included with the short block,being basically new,I choice to use a 32-1 synthetic mix for brake in, primed the carb,choke on, fired on second pull,just filled third tank of fuel again using my preferred synthetic mix at 50.1, runs strong and smooth, need too say thanks to ereplacement parts for their quick shipping and availability of parts at a affordable price.
