Power Drill, Battery drill with phillips bit

Wiped clean base of sander where new pad was going
Checked screw holes for debris to be sure they were clean
Put new pad up to base, aligned the 3 screw holes, and started all screws by hand
After all screws were started in place, I used a battery drill to gently tighten screws
I did not have to use the new screws I ordered, the existing screws were in excellent condition
Just needed new parts
