Simple, screw the nut off, replace the rubber stopper under the spring.

1. Removed threaded cover of non-return valve
2. Removed old rubber valve
3. Installed new rubber valve. Rubber step shape that engages the spring was different diameter than the original, but didn't seem to make any difference functionally. The overall height and diameter was the same.
4. Reinstalled cover
