To replace this item you would need a Screwdriver.
• Remove the Four (4) Screws that secure the Sub Base
• Remove the old plate and replace it with a new one
• Secure the new plate using the Four (4) screws

Tighten the old base all the way and remove the depth adjusting ring. Watch fro the small springs in the ring. Take the new base and install the clamp knob, washer and screw and tighten it all of the way. Place the springs and install them in the threads of the depth ring and thread it on the new base. Using the four screw install the sub base.
