    Retrofit from CFL to incandescent/ led socket.

    Pliers, Socket set, Flashlight

    Turned off power to fixture.
    Removed trim and springs unplugged fan connector plug.
    Selected correct socket and removed bolts from housing socket ( note an extention will make the rachet more comfortable to remove bolts from fixture)
    Cut wires closet to removed "old part"
    Cleaned interior of fan housing arranged wires to connect splice following color coded wires "alike colors" with water rated wire nuts
    Reattached new socket with boltsand rachet..
    Reattached the trim with new springs...
    10 to 15 min max to do retrfit

    Springs had rusted out and fallen causing the part to fall from ceiling.

    1. Got ladder out.
    2. Got flashlight on ladder.
    3. Took out light bulb.
    4. Used flashlight to find holes in fixture for spring hooks.
    5. Placed springs in spring hooks.
    6. Replaced light bulb.

    Light socket broke and springs broke on trim ring

    Power Drill, Nutdriver, wire strippers and wire nuts

    I took the light socket out and replace with new one used wire strippers and stripped wires and wire nutted them in and used electrical tape and taped all connections. Then I put trim ring in with new springs it probably took 20 minutes total, works great
