Lawn Mower Belt Keeper Rod 747-04857

I was a bit skeptical concerning this repair as operator\'s manual for 2010 Troy-Bilt pony lawn tractor suggests replacing drive belt be done by authorized Troy-Bilt repair station. I did view video multiple times and did call to speak with salesperson (MaKayla) who was very helpful in determining parts which I needed and actually corrected me on a replacement belt keeper part number. Actual taking deck off and replacing both drive and transmission belts took approximately 3-4 hrs as I tried to be as methodical as possible. Video gave me a great tip for removing tension springs, that is tying a rope and pulling them loose which I might not have figured out on my own! I had to replace bolt which holds main driveshaft pulley on engine which necessitated ordering parts this time online, but the exploded parts diagrams made this very easy and all parts actually arrived in 3-4 days time which I thought exceptional! I tried out mower this morning and it seems to operate as good as new, time will tell, but I must say that your company has been very thorough and on top of things, thanks much for all the help and reasonable pricing! Repair video was just outstanding and company service is excellent.

Since there was no longer a bolt to hold the belt keeper on.....I got a new bolt and washers. I only had to put the belt keeper in place and install the new bolt. Mission accomplished!

Ground off top of plate where screw bolt use to hold keeper in place. Replaced with regular nut and bolt. Job Done. It helps when u have the exact replacement part like I got from eReplacementParts.com. Thanks much!
