Removed cover from top of router using a torx or slot head screwdriver.
Switch was now exposed
Removed old switch
Installed new switch
Replaced cover
Router now starts with switch.
My router is a Milwaukee 5625-20. I use it in a router table. For whatever reason, it seems to go through a lot of switches . Fortunately, switches are not expensive and they are easy to replace so I can do it myself, which saves a lot of time and $$$. My nearest repair facility is a 45 min drive.

As a general rule when replacing a switch or brush on this router, it makes things go a lot easier for me if I clamp the tool to the bench so it stays in a fixed position while I am working on it.

Removed the top cover and depth adjustment knob with a torx driver. The two brush tube assemblies were removed with the same torx and I replaced the brushes. I also replaced the on/off switch just for good measure - it only cost a few dollars more...and why not while I had the cover off? When I put it back together, the router fired ri ght up.
