If the power cord connected to your charger is burned out or worn out, your charger might not turn on. If this is the case, replace it to fix this problem. Often you will notice the power cord’s gradual descent into dysfunctionality, most commonly indicated by periodic periods of intermittent powering, often affected by movement of the cord or the charger. If you have noticed this occurring, you can be confident that the power cord is the issue and that it needs to be replaced.

If the circuit board is broken or burned out, then your charger might not turn on. To fix this, replace the circuit board with a new one. Cut the wires and disconnect them to install a new circuit board. Tip: re-tool the pull-stop to prevent the cord being pulled out, which can result in ripping out the circuit board.

If your charger will not turn on, check the fuse. If the fuse is blown, it should be replaced by following these steps: First, remove screws found on the bottom of the charger and any screws found in the port. Next, pull the top of the charger and separate it from the bottom. Locate the fuse and pull it out to replace it with a new one.
