Spark Plugs

Cylinders

Carbon deposits on the head of the cylinder can cause pre-detonation. This is a condition where carbon heats up and acts like a spark plug, causing the fuel in the cylinder to detonate before the spark plug fires. This is a serious problem and should be dealt with immediately. The cylinder should be cleaned to remove the carbon deposits, but if you cannot fully remove the deposits, you will need to replace the cylinder entirely.

Ignition Modules
