How to Replace the Plastic Pan on an MK Diamond Tile Saw
Step-by-step instructions for removing and installing the plastic pan on your MK Diamond tile saw.
The plastic pan is the water tray for your tile saw. It both holds a supply of water for the saw to use while cutting, as well as catches much of the mess that is created from cutting the tile. The pan will eventually crack, either from the rigors of day-to-day use, or by accident.
Let's get started.
REMOVING THE PLASTIC PAN
1. Remove the plastic pan.
a. Remove the water pump assembly (along with the water lines) from the plastic pan.
b. Slide the plastic pan out of the frame and away from the saw.
INSTALLING THE NEW PLASTIC PAN
2. Install the plastic pan.
a. Install the new rubber stopper into the new plastic pan.
b. Install the new plastic pan into the frame.
c. Place the pump assembly (and water lines) back into the plastic pan.
