Fuses

To repair espresso machine that will not turn on, first check the thermal fuse, which is usually covered in a plastic tube. Next, you can use a connectivity checker to check if the fuse is working. Sensors
If you are having trouble turning on your espresso machine and you have checked your switch and control board, then check the thermistor for damage, if it fails then the machine will not heat at all. In this case, make sure to replace the thermistor.
Control Boards
If your switch is not worn out or damaged, but your espresso machine does not turn on, then check the control board to see if it responds to any buttons clicked. If not, then the board has gone out and is broken. The control board is in control of many main functions of your espresso machine, such as the solenoid valves. Tip: remember the wires you disconnected from the board to reconnect them when installing new board and reassembling it.
Thermostats
If your thermostat is not allowing power to flow through a heating element or is getting stuck in the off position after it reaches a certain temperature, then your espresso machine might not turn on. In this case, it is best to replace the thermostat as it is probably broken or damaged.
