Installing the ignitor kit

1. Bend the electrode

Bend the electrode so it extends straight out from the bracket.

2. Install the electrode into the stove

Insert the electrode into the pre-drilled hole into your stove -- then use a phillips-head screw driver to secure it to the barrel.

Note: Older Camp Chef stoves may not have pre-drilled holes for the electrode. If this is the case, you'll need to drill them yourself.

3. Position the electrode

Position the electrode 3/16" away from the the center ring on the burner, over one of the holes (ports).

4. Install the ignitor

Slide the longer end of the elbow over the ceramic piece of the electrode -- then push the ignitor through the bottom of the bracket and snap it into place.

5. Repeat on other burners if necessary

Follow the same steps if you need to replace or install an ignitor on another burner. 

6. Test the spark

Now turn on the gas and see if your ignitor lights the burner(s). If not, try adjusting the electrode location over the burner(s).
