This replacement regulator knob is a genuine Campbell Hausfeld item designed for Ridgid air compressors. It is a genuine part that allows user to regulate the air pressure in the compressor tank. Please note, this is only the plastic knob not the regulator itself. Includes one item per order. No tools needed to replace this knob, it simply fits over the metal connection fitting.

    Took everything apart and put it all back together works great you just have to make sure everything lines up in the regulator is in the correct direction of airflow

    regulator would not let air out

    we removed the existing regulator and replaced the new one in reverse order

    Regulator defective/broken.

    1. Removed manifold assembly with screw driver and adjustable wrench noting flow direction of old and new regulator.
    2. Replaced regulator.
    3. Reassembled manifold to compressor.
    4. Checked operation of compressor...Done

    Leaky pressure regulator

    1- Remove metal cover
    2- Disconnect inlet and outlet hose to regulator
    3- Replace regulator ...pay attention to inlet and outlet hoses locations.
    4- Apply sealant to threads reconnect do not over tighten
    5- Check for any leaks before replacing cover...
    7- Replace metal cover.
    8- Install new knob on regulator ...done !

    ***Do not use Teflon tape on ends ....as some strands may end up inside of regulator !

    Replaced the allen head screws with bolts the rest was easy pipe dope and tightening plumbing!
