2. Mark each contact wires attach to the rectifier not to make any mistakes.
3. Remove and replace the rectifier.
4. Do the same for the switch.

Switched out the burned out brushes next. Didn't have crimper so used wire nuts instead.
Switched out the diode next.
All done!
Plugged it in and it ran just fine. Sparks when it shuts off though from the new brushes.
