Pulled the drop in stove top out of fixture removed side panel removed controller for eyes. Cut power for stove. Removed bad socket and wire. Put in new wire. Spliced new wire into old wire harness. Tapped conventions. Reinstalled everything turned on power. Everything worked perfectly
