It is a genuine manufacturer-supplied replacement part which is specially designed for Penn fishing reels. A piece of cover at the bottom of reel cracked. based on the parts repair information, I easily select the repair parts from eReplacement. Parts came less than a week. Repair is easy and complete. My reel looks as good as it was purchased many years ago.
