This stoneware is easily removeable by hand and is considered extra-large in terms of its capacity, allowing you to serve ten or more people. If this part is cracked or nicked, it will need to be replaced to ensure safe cooking. It is oven safe (not broiler) up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and is safe to clean in the dishwasher.
