1. Removed the remaining pieces of the broken cable.
2. Installed the new cable on the top side by putting the cable end on first then put the molded part of the boot into the bracket on the top of the mower.
3. Routed the cable down the mower and over the mower deck.
4. Installed the hook on the end of the cable to the mechanism on the mower blade deck.
5. Installed the molded part of the lower boot into the bracket on the blade deck. Engaging/disengaging the PTO during this process helps.
