Removed back panel. Removed spark control unit and installed new one. Very easy repair. Generator started and ran great.

Honda 2000 wouldnt start. I put this gen to the test in the desert sand dunes, overloaded it tortured it. So the stator windings , the pulse generator for the spark plug and the spark unit replaced.
Used 10mm socket and phillips screwdriver to take the whole generator apart then used a 2 ended fly wheel puller to pull that off to replace the stator. very easy repair no manual needed.
Remove 4 screws on front of control panel , pull panel front away from case, remove cable on back of spark unit and remove Phillips screw holding unit to front case,replace with new unit.works great.
1 Tested all components in ignition system per ohm readings on YouTube video. all readable units were good.
2 Ignition control module (spark unit) was the only part that could not be tested.
