1. Found the correct size Torx bit
2. Lay the saw on it\'s side.
3. Removed 5 Torx screws
4. Removed the top half of the handgrip, exposing the cord attachment to the trigger assembly.
5. Removed the screw holding the trigger assembly to the handgrip.
6. Removed screws through eyelet at end of cord on one saw
... Read more. On the other saw, I had to find a very small allen wrench (0.5 mm) to depress the small bar holding the wire end in.
7. Attached the new cord.
8. Re-Assembled everything and tested.
