This part comes directly from the manufacturer. The Planetary is used in all 6 quart and some 5 quart mixers. This Planetary comes with the Agitator Shaft (part number 9708191), the Washer (part number 9706090), the Shear Pin (part number 9707223), the Pinion Gear (part number 9707627), and the Retaining Clip (part number 9703438). The mixing attachments attach to the planetary to allow for mixing. To replace this part you will need to gain access through the upper housing and the transmission housing. This part needs to be replaced when it has dropped a quarter of an inch or if there are any metal shavings.

I used your exceptionally good repair video on You Tube after I had initially opened the mixer. But the key to success was the break-down repair parts diagrams on this web site. The detail was exceptional and allowed me to assess exactly what I needed and put the parts in the shopping cart as I went. The mixers are simple to repair once you see the basics.
