This manufacturer-approved part is specially made for use with Shimano fishing reels. It provides an identical replacement for a faulty or a missing component that was installed on a new unit. The pawl cap is attached to line guide. It has internal threads that secure the part to the line guide. Check the appropriate diagram of your model for the exact location and the correct installation. One durable plastic pawl cap is included. You will need a flat-head screwdriver to secure or move this component.
