This is an authentic manufacturer-approved part which is designed for use with Shimano Reels. The pawl cap is attached to line guide. It has internal threads that secure the part to the line guide. It provides an identical replacement for a missing or a damaged component that was installed on a new unit. To ensure the correct application, refer to the appropriate diagram for your model. One durable plastic pawl cap is included. A flat-head screwdriver will be needed to perform this repair.

Better have some patience working with small parts and put them in the order that you removed them so you don\'t have to remember how to put them back. Take pictures
