Leaking air without pulling trigger

Pulled inlet assembly out of bottom of impact gun, removed snap-ring to pull valve assembly out to install new parts. put assy. in vise to install new valve and snap-ring, then push down on snap-ring to get seated in groove, with small tipped pocket screwdriver. put dab of air tool oil on new \"o\" rings to ease installing inlet assembly

Looked up the parts diagram
Disassembled to get to the trigger mechanism (start from the air inlet and work up) after removing the \"motor\" from the shell.
Remove the trigger assembly
Rebuild using all of the new parts
It took longer to figure out the disassembly than it did to do the repair.
