This socket retainer is an OEM direct from Chicago Pneumatic. Compatible with many impact wrenches, this protective component is fitted between the o-ring and the snap ring, near the anvil assembly. This metal socket retainer is sold individually. A hex key and a pair of pliers are often needed for the removal and installation.
