Flashlight repair
I received the correct item although it was back ordered and because of that it took a while to get it but that was acceptable because without the part the repair couldn't have been accomplished. The repair was for a 30+ year old flashlight and I was very delighted to have found the parts.

Pulled off the head of the flashlight by pressing both pivot contacts with a flat tip screwdriver and pulling head inline with the case.
Removed all screws on the case.
Removed the broken contact and cut the wire as long as possible.
Soldered new contact to the old wire.
Placed new contact in the pivot socket.

Squeeze the contacts by hand and slide head back down inline with the case.
