The charging base holds the main unit and changes it when not in use. It also has a compartment that holds the foil cutter (part number: 031995, sold separately). This part is made of durable plastic and metal. The power adapter (part number: 0331142) is sold separately. There are no tools required for this replacement part, simply place on a surface and plug in the power adapter to use.
