I was gifted a used WeatherGuard tool box; however, there were no keys. Without the key code needed to get replacement keys, I decided to purchase a new lock. Interestingly, the latch mechanism blocked easy access to the lock and clip. The WeatherGuard products info regarding replacing the lock shows a very different set up. It was more difficult to reassemble the latch than it was to replace the lock. Once back together, my tool box can now be locked. Looks just like an original. I am well satisfied.

exact fit part but....
the part fits as well as the original, however, the customer service/attention span must be lacking. I requested a specific key code and clearly entered it into the "P.O" line and i was not given that code so now i have 2 different keys for my boxes which is a real pain. I will not spend money to re key a new lock when i clearly asked for a specific code. otherwise the shipping speed was great.
