This package includes two black filters weighing 2lbs. The housing is not included. This filter fits most major brands that fit in 10-Inch by 2-1/2-Inch sumps. Whole home filtration systems such as this, provide filtered water at every tap. The purpose of the filter is to help cut down on chlorine, sand, soil, silt, sediment, rust, among other things. The operating pressure is 125 PSI, the operating temperature is 40-100 degrees Fahrenheit, it has a flow rate of 4.0 GPMs, and a micron rating of five. Reducing sediment in your water gives your equipment a longer life. For the best results you will need to replace this filter every three months or 700 gallons of water, depending on your water conditions.
