This drain pump motor helps expel water from the washing machine and is activated after the spin speed is maintained for a specific period. If your washer will not drain, is noisy, leaking, or pumps but will not spin, you may need to replace the drain pump motor. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to shut off the water supply and disconnect the power to the washer before starting your repair. Note: Pump casing is not included.

Followed YouTube video. Disconnected power. Drained washer with drain hose. Removed top of washer. Disconnected door gasket. Removed front of washer. Removed pump bolts and drain hoses. Disconnected failed pump. Removed pump electrical connection. Replaced pump with OEM part from ereplacementparts.com. Reconnected electrical wires. Repl aced pump assembly in washer. Reattached front of washer including door. Replaced top of washer. Plugged cord into outlet. Tested washer on quick wash cycle. Works like new!
