Hi, is this knob for selecting type of wash, normal delicate, etc? If so, what is the name of the part it attaches to? I believe my knob is fine unless its stripped? Haven't checked that I just know the knob has absolutely no grip it spins freely pushed in and pulled out. Thanks for your help!

Hello Bobbi, Thank you for the question. Part Number:WH01X10310 for the Control Knob and Part Number:WH11X10049 for the Dial. This parts controls the Timer Switch Part Number:WH12X10527. If the Knob and the shaft the knob slips onto spins freely, the Timer Switch will need to be replaced. If the shaft is not spinning, the Dial or knob is stripped. We hope this helps!
