1. It didn\'t start the spin cycle because the pump didn\'t pump out the wash water.
2. Removed lower front panel. Turned pump over by hand. Pump moved very hard. In my case, I could see it trying to turn when called for.
3. Determined it was a defective pump.

6. Removed the two screws holding the pump
7. Moved pump forward and removed electrical plug.
8. Replaced pump
9. Reconnected pump and connections in reverse order, tested, ok.
Unplugged washer. Removed access cover, unplugged old pump, removed pump cover, removed mounting bolts and hose clamps and removed old pump. Cleaned area, installed new pump, bolts, and cover. Reattached hoses, plugged wiring in. Cycled washer to check for leaks (none) then replaced access panel.
Most difficult part was replacing
... Read more factory hose clamps in the tight confines of the machine; a good 5 minutes per clamp and a skinned knuckle. A small mirror and channel lock pliers helped..
The part ordered and received was an exact replacement.
