Upright Vacuum Agitators

This is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from Hoover. A bearing is used on each end of the brush roll agitator, allowing it to spin freely. These parts are used to reduce friction and damage between moving parts. They are designed for a high-wear function and are therefore easy to install and replace. This part is sold individually; note that most machines require a pair of bearings.

This is an authentic Hoover part designed for use with commercial upright vacuums. The belt attaches to the agitator on the end with a gap in the bristles, and spins it when activated. The agitator sits inside the nozzle in the suction airflow, allowing the bristles to disturb carpet fibers.
