The repair was simple. The removal of about 10 screws took the top off the motor housing assembly revealing the wiring and switch but not affecting the integrity of the motor at all. The wiring was had crimped spade connectors that pulled off the old switch and right on to the replacement. The new switch provided by eReplacement Parts was a perfect match for the original which was not available anywhere on the web or from Sears.
