Hose Intlk 83722

I was skeptical that I would receive the part I needed, but I am pleasantly surprised to find this replacement part fits just right. Thank you!

I searched all over for this item. All parts for my very old wet/dry/blower vac are supposedly obsolete. After a lot of research and connecting a few dots, I was 95% sure this would fit my vac even though Parts Direct says it's not compatible. Convinced that I was right and they were wrong, I bought two of these (one for future use!). Sure enough, this hose intlk - 83722 - IS 100% compatible!!! THANK YOU EREPLACEMENTPARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! FYI: For those wondering how to get the old one off, simply use a heat gun to soften the outer hose "just enough" (do not overheat!) to place a flat head screw driver in between the old link and the outer hose and then slowly walk the old link out!!!! Again.... THANK YOU EREPLACEMENTPARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to replace the hose for my shop vac and found the interlocks in the hardware stores were all too small. The inside diameter of the intake on the WD16650 is 2¾", which is larger than the intake on most other shop vacs. This part is an exact match fit and is working perfectly. The other end of this part, which goes into the hose, is the common size used for standard hoses. eReplacementParts saved me from having to purchase a whole new shop vac!

I needed to replace the crimped old hose of my 30 yr Rigid shop vac. (Which by the way, still works like new). Now it works even better since the crimp doesn't reduce the suction. I am so greatful I found this replacement. I had purchased the replacement hose but it didn't fit. Now it does.

I took the mating part to Home Depot and they told me they have the same brand in stock, but had never seen the part. I found the part here and for $11, I saved my old shop vac.

The part was just what I needed but took an extended period of time to receive due to being out of stock.
