Replace motor. Don\'t need to split vacuum in half. Just remove motor plate then circuit board. Remove fan nut and 2 screw on motor. Reverse process back together. Note there are 2 different length screws
Removed collection canister
Removed motor support with suction tube
Disconnected wiring
Removed screws supporting motor
Used 1/2 inch wrench on nut from motor shaft and scew driver to remove vaccum empeller
Replacement done on reverse order
No special tools needed
