1. Unplugged the vacuum
2. Removed the vacuum belt
3. Removed the vacuum base plate
4. Removed the vacuum headlamp and replaced it with the new bulb.
5. Removed the vacuum start switch harness
6. Removed the vacuum switch from its holder
7. Cut the vacuum switch wires
8. Connected the new vacuum
... Read more switch wires.
9. Put the vacuum switch back in its holder
10. Reattached the vacuum switch harness
11. Used the screws to add the vacuum base plate back
12. Put the vacuum belt back on.
13. Plugged the vacuum in to try it out.
Removed all of the screws. Split cannister in half. Removed old switch. Installed ne switch. The rerouting of the two switch wires is very important. The built in clip system must be used to allow the two halved of the cannister to go back together properly. The new switch worked well after the cannister was reassembled. Thank you.
