This is an authentic Dynabrade replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with portable vacuums. The carbon brushes are used to relay electricity from the switch to the armature assembly. The brushes are sold in pairs because two are required.

patience saves me $3000
The brush set to months to get, not the fault of e replacement at all. I scoured every where including the actual original manufacturer to no avail. The motor manufacturer, for what ever reason was extremely delayed. the brush set was for a dust collector that new would be close to $3000.00 I called a several times to confirm if the part was not actually discontinued. they assured me it was not so i decided to be patient. My patience paid off when it arrived a couple weeks ago. thank you
