The throttle cable is connected to the carburetor and it stops the engine when you shift the lever to the full choke position. 1. Take the trigger housing apart.
2. The shaft comes out.
3. Take the engine housing apart.
4. Take the carburetor off.
5. Remove the old cable.
6. Reassemble.
7. Very tricky to hold all parts together (best to have a friend help hold shaft while reassembling).

Throttle cable and trigger both needed replaced trigger was broke
Remove throttle handle the engine cover the carburetor air cleaner and attaching parts assemble with new cable and trigger and reassemble time involved is 30 to 45 min not recommended to do unless you have had worked with assembly and disassembly before. Just take if slow and you will gey the job done
