This is an authentic Troy-Bilt replacement part. It is specially designed for use with handheld string trimmers. It is made of high-quality materials and is used to remove dust and other contaminants from the air that goes through the engine. Over time it may wear out and get clogged eventually requiring a replacement. Note, this high-quality part is sold individually. Refer to the owner's manual for the correct application.
Removed the screws holding the gas tank on.
Removed the fuel lines from the carburetor and removed the tank.
Installed the new tank with the screws.
Installed the fuel hoses on the carburetor ports.
Installed the new air cleaner assembly.
Put the new cover on and screwed it on. Since the screw that holds it, has a tendency to come off and get lost, I put a piece of duck tape over the screw. Careful not to cover the air intake.
