This is an authentic manufacturer made replacement part which is specially designed for use with Craftsman Trimmers. The module produces the voltage that travels down the spark plug wire to the spark plug, then to the engine. This part is made of metal and plastic it is also sold individually. For installation you will need a screwdriver, a socket wrench and a pair of pliers to aid you. Before starting this repair be sure to let the engine cool completely.
