I disconnected the main shaft from the engine assembly. This included 4 T20 torx bolts, a set screw, a 3/8 or 10 mm hex socket, and a 11/16 nut.. Then I pulled the broken flex shaft from the main assembly and greased the new flex shaft and put it back inside the main assembly. Anyone with any common sense can work on these trimmers. Bas
