This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement starter housing assembly which is specially produced for use with Troy-Bilt and Yard Man trimmers. This is the starter housing that is used to pull-start the engine, over time some components may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring replacement. It is a complete assembly which includes a plastic housing, starter pulley, starter spring, the pull rope with a grip and the hardware to secure the assembly.

Starter rope broke, wound up getting whole housing assembly, it was easier.
Tried to replace the starter rope after looking for directions on youtube. Got it done then realized more was broken and worn. Ordered a new housing with the starter rope spring and other stuff already attached. After watching the video, I Removed the original pull start assembly.
Installed the new assembly.
Worked like a charm and a lot cheaper than buying a new trimmer.
