Worn out head on trimmer

Just used the adjustable wrench to hold the bar end and then remove the nut at the end the of the bar with the socket set. Then installed the new trimmer head , that\'s it!

Removed nut holding on trimmer head and placed new one on, remember left hand thread. Removed screws to gas tank and disconnected 2 fuel lines by pulling off gently and pushing new ones on.

Lawn trimmer head replacement

1. Remove internal sections of existing trimmer head.
2. Applied WD-40 on bolt. Wait 5 minutes. Remove bolt holding existing trimmer head.
3. Remove existing trimmer head.
4. Remove internal section of new trimmer head.
5. Place new trimmer head on shaft and tighten bolt on trimmer head.
6. Restring and attac h internal section to new trimmer head.
7. Place existing lawn trimmer back in service.

Trimmer bump head broke

I used a center punch placed in a hole provided by the manufacture to stop the shaft from turning. A little counter-clockwise turn and the bump head head came off. Replacing was as easy as reversing the procedure.

Had to replace the primer bulb on my trimmer. Also replace the main spring on the trimmer head.

1. Remove the front plate on the trim motor.
2. Remove two bolts on the trimmer assembly plate with the filter lies.
3. Disconnected fuel lines to primer bulb, snapped out primer bulb and replaced with new one attached boat intake in airlines to trim a bulb and replaced it.
4. Remove the head assembly online feeder inser ted spring reattached and was completed.

Took the old head off the tool, re wrapped the trimmer head, re-assembled and tightened, tested, works fine.

1. Removed old/broken trimmer head
2. Bolt holding the trimmer head is a left thread. It will get loose as if you are tightening a normal bolt. This is done to prevent it getting loose when rotating at high speed.
3. Install new trimmer head. Again, tighten as if you are loosening a normal bolt.
4. Done.
