Removed broken guard, using flathead screwdriver to push down on tabs. Then snapped on the new guards. The Black & Decker one had a screw as well as snap-in tabs.
1 Removed old shield
2 Removed screw/line cutter from old shield
3 Installed screw/line cutter on new shield
4 Installed new shield on Toro weed eater
5 Tested Toro
After prying open keepers and holding them open with scrapers, it was easy to slide out old shield then slide in the new one
It would be nice if you would explain in the description that the string cutter and screw is not included with the shield
