Removed the backpack from the engine
Removed the carburetor cover
Remove and replace the air filter
Remove and replace the spark plug, gap it 0.025
Remove and replace gas cap
Replace backpack to the engine

The Ryobi backpack blower was broken and leaking air. Additionally the gas cap was leaking through the center breather stone.

Removed two screws in the clamps that held the hose to the motor and the end controller. Removed the hose and replaced with the new hose. Reinstalled the hose to the motor and the controller. Replaced and tightened the clamps.
The gas cap was simply removed and replaced with the new one. 15 minutes. The blower worked like designed.

1. Used a screw driver to help removed part of the trimmer head.
2. Socket to remove the old head and attach the new one.
3. The rest of the head just snapped in place.

original trimmer head spool and bump head were worn out. Gas cap leaked.

Just removed the spool and bumper head and replaced. Left the original shell intact. No tools needed. Used the weed eater for about an hour in pretty heavy growth. Worked as it should; line fed correctly.

I broke the trigger lock and the trimmer needed a new gas cap because it leaked. I also needed to change the air filter element.
