The special gasket is used to seal the connection between the cylinder and the carburetor insulator. It is recommended to replace gaskets when servicing the motor to ensure proper seals when the parts are reassembled. A screwdriver and needle nose pliers may be needed for the repair. The gasket is available as an individual replacement part.
