This is an authentic Shindaiwa replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with trimmers, blowers, and water pumps. The plastic reel is used to wrap the starter rope around and to link the recoil spring that provides the torsion that rewinds the rope. The rope reel is available as an individual replacement part.
