This is a genuine OEM replacement part used with many Shindaiwa trimming devices. The insulator block is constructed of metal, and helps to fasten the gasket to the cylinder. A hex key is necessary in making the installation. The insulator block is sold individually.

Worked perfectly
It's brand new. I needed it for a shindaiwa trimmer that I found on the side of the road. It must have landed on the air cleaner because it sheared off the insulator. Replaced it with this one I just ordered and it works great. And it got here before the specified delivery date which was awesome!
